The next frontier of cyber security is data security
While these milestones are nice achievements, they only happen because we’re helping customers solve one of their most important challenges - securing their data.
Infrastructure security – protecting endpoints, parameters, networks, etc. – is an important part of protecting a business, but it’s not enough. Despite massive investments in world-class perimeter and cloud security tools, cybercriminals are still getting through to data. And when they take down the data, they take down the entire business. Fundamental resiliency comes from securing data, because if their data is secure, customers can rebuild their business in the event of a cyberattack.

Helping customers secure their data drives everything we do at Rubrik, and this is why we’re so excited about the recent launch of Rubrik Security Cloud. This new data security platform gives customers the power to secure their data, monitor data risk, and quickly recover data wherever it lives—across the enterprise, in the cloud, and in SaaS applications.
Rubrik Security Cloud is built on the Rubrik Zero Trust Architecture and focuses on three key pillars:
Data Resilience - secure data from insider threats or ransomware with air-gapped, immutable, access-controlled backups
Data Observability - continuously monitor data for ransomware, manage sensitive data exposure, and find indicators of compromise
Data Remediation - surgically and rapidly recover apps, files or objects while avoiding malware reinfection
Rubrik Zero Labs
Our relentless focus on innovating on behalf of our customers is why we’re also launching Rubrik Zero Labs, our new data threat intelligence research unit. Cybersecurity expert Steve Stone will head up Rubrik Zero Labs as it analyzes the global threat landscape, eliminates threat impacts as a core part of Rubrik’s delivery, and reports on emerging data security issues. Steve brings over 15 years of experience in threat intelligence with roles in the US military, intelligence community, and private sector.
