Who you are:

You’re someone who is enthusiastic about joining an energetic team and working to ensure smooth operation of the finance process in compliance with company policy.

You are willing to work in night shifts. The working hours will be 8 PM - 5 AM IST mandatorily as this role works very closely with the US accounting team as well.

What You’ll do:

  • Responsible for ensuring all activities that comes through the team is actioned as per assigned SLA’s
  • Processing of all AP transactions for US and Canada region, ensuring adherence to the accounting policy
  • Handle the multiple AP inboxes and respond to queries raised by various stakeholder within reasonable turn-around time.
  • Perform rigorous follow up for exception resolution and ensure low exception rate
  • Review ageing status of invoices pending processing. Interact with various stakeholders in resolving discrepancies in processing the invoices.
  • Responsible for any month end activities assigned related to AP and ensure timely completion
  • Prepare and provide internal and ad-hoc reports. Responding to information requests from various auditors
  • Help identify process improvements and resolution to any potential internal control issues
  • Assist in other AP functions and projects as needed

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree from an accredited university in finance, accounting or related field
  • Minimum experience of 10 years in Accounts Payable function
  • Effective communicator with good interpersonal, verbal communication skills with the ability to crisply articulate concepts
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment
  • Can operate autonomously and have good attention to details
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, preferable with experience in NetSuite (Oracle), Coupa & Expense tools
  • Should be willing to work in the night shift (8 PM IST - 5 AM IST) to support the US team
