Job Description:
Rubrik is the leading data security platform for cyber recovery. We are looking for a Renewal Representative to help us sustain our growth by ensuring that our Federal & Public Sector customers' subscriptions are renewed on time and that they continue to receive exceptional service from Rubrik. As a Renewals Representative, you will be responsible for working closely with our customers, sales teams, and channel partners to drive retention, renewal, and expansion of our subscriptions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage and renew Federal & Public Sector customer subscription contracts by identifying and addressing their needs and concerns.
- Work collaboratively with the sales team, Rubrik resellers, and customers to identify and resolve renewals risk/blockers, achieve renewal targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing guidance on licensing, pricing, and renewal options.
- Ownership of the entire renewals sales cycle and renewals forecast.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customer stakeholders and opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, support, and customer success, to ensure a smooth renewal process and seamless customer experience.
- Maintain accurate customer and subscription data in Rubrik’s CRM.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, sales, or renewals in the software industry.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding renewal targets.
- Preferred prior channel sales experience.
- Preferred prior Federal & Public Sector sales experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively across internal teams and with external partners.
- Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and forecasting tools, preferably Clari.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- This role requires that you be a U.S. citizen as part of the qualifications for consideration.
Security and Privacy Responsibilities section:
This position carries special Security and Privacy Responsibilities for protecting the U.S. Federal Government’s interests:
- Know, acknowledge, and follow system-specific security policies and procedures;
- Protect data and individual privacy per requirements and regulations;
- Perform ongoing activities in compliance with service and contractual obligations;
- Participate in role-based training, completing assignments on a timely basis;
- Report security issues promptly, and aid investigation when needed;
- Support controlled changes and vulnerability remediation activities; and
- Work collaboratively with Information Security in designing, implementing, assessing or enhancing system-specific security and privacy controls.
Position Risk Designation section:
This position carries duties and responsibilities involving the U.S. Federal Government’s interests. The selected incumbent may be subject to one or both of the additional background checks with periodic re-screening as noted below:
Position Risk Designation: Non-Sensitive, Low Risk, Tier 1
Incumbents without access to U.S. Government data may be required to complete Standard Form 85 and undergo a Tier 1 Investigation (T1) for non-sensitive positions of Low Risk. (Baseline screening; formerly National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI)).
Position Risk Designation: Non-Sensitive, Moderate Risk, Tier 2 (Public Trust)
Incumbents with access to U.S. Government data may be required to complete Standard Form 85P and undergo Tier 2 (T2) Investigation for non-sensitive positions designated Moderate Risk.
Position Risk Designation:Moderate Risk Law Enforcement (CJIS)
When hired for a position where access to Moderate Risk criminal justice information is required, the employee must complete a fingerprint-based national criminal history background check within 30 days after the employee’s start date.
